To improve the quality of products and increase the added value of products, we need to improve and enhance the special requirements for yarn quality in the post knitting process, so as to enhance the market competitiveness of high-quality knitting yarn and expand the share of sales.

Through the first 5 years of knitting yarn appraisal activities, we can see clearly that the overall level of sample delivery in cotton spinning enterprises is improving, and the recognition degree of the evaluation results in the industry is also improving, and the promotion in the knitting industry has also shown the effect.

The evaluation of knitting yarn in 2010/2011 is still in the form of previous years. From August 1st, the cotton spinning enterprises that participated in the evaluation activities of "user trustworthy product" knitted yarn products in August 1st were filled in the declaration form, and the declaration form was pmitted to the China Cotton Textile Industry Association Secretariat by August 30th.

After the appraisal, the organizer shall give written notice to the enterprise that has obtained the qualification to participate in the appraisal activity.

The organizer set up a review expert group. According to the significance of each index, a scientific evaluation method is made for the importance of knitting production and grey fabric quality.

The yarn samples and testing data extracted from the participating enterprises were comprehensively evaluated according to the evaluation method.

The organizer will receive award-winning tablets and certificates, and will be publicized in the main textile industry in China. The knitting industry association will recommend yarn to domestic knitting enterprises in the year of 2010/2011.

The events included: ring spinning yarn, rotor spinning, jet spinning and vortex spinning.

The testing items include routine detection: single yarn breaking strength variation coefficient, 100 meter weight variation coefficient, single yarn breaking strength, linear density, one in NEP count, one NEP total impurity count, blackboard evenness, sliver CV%, kilometer detail (-50%), kilometer thick section (+50%), kilometer NEP (+200%); suitable for knitted special inspection: electronic blackboard appearance uneven and electronic fabric simulation, fiber drop quantity, yarn dynamic strength, yarn to metal wear performance index.

The sampling method was adopted by factories randomly sampling samples and sending samples by the organizers. 5 cheese packages (no less than 500g/) were selected for each species, and the yarn samples were numbered according to the requirements of the organizers.

The enterprise yarn sample should be sent to the China Knitting Industry Association Secretariat by September 10th.
