In the first half of August this year, the total import and export value of Beijing's foreign trade reached US $194 billion 900 million, an increase of 49.6% over the same period last year. Of which, exports amounted to 35 billion 900 million US dollars, up 18.4% over the same period, and imports of US $159 billion, up 59% over the same period last year.
