India Enterprises In Europe Autumn Shoe Exhibition Fruitful.
India leather export Bureau (CLE) has announced that India has achieved good results in many European leather and footwear exhibitions held this autumn.
In September 2011, a total of 37 India enterprises participated in the Milan leather goods and bags Exhibition (MIPEL) in Italy, with a total value of US $650 thousand.
In addition, after negotiations with 400 buyers, it is estimated that the total amount of follow up orders will reach US $2 million 500 thousand.
There were only 6 India enterprises participating in the September world footwear exhibition in Dusseldorf, but 100 business negotiations were conducted during the period, and orders for 290 thousand euros were received. The subsequent order volume is expected to reach 1 million 560 thousand euros.
The 10 India exhibitors in Italy Milan International Footwear Exhibition (MICAM) were similar in September.
The talks with buyers reached 117 matches, and the contracted orders were valued at US $500 thousand and the subsequent orders could reach US $1 million 600 thousand.
According to CLE statistics, India's footwear exports to Europe have increased from 798 million US dollars in 2005-06 to US $2010-11 now (2010-11).
The average annual growth rate reached 11.4%.
