India'S Textile Sector Will Reach $223 Billion In 2021.

According to a report by the Federation of industry and Commerce (FICCI), the overall scale of the textile and garment industry in India will reach US $223 billion by 2021, compared with about 89 billion US dollars last year.

The challenge of industry, the report said, India's current domestic textile and apparel market is US $58 billion, and it is expected to grow by 9% to 141 billion US dollars by 2021.


Similarly, the report also predicts that India will occupy the global textile and apparel industry.

Market export

The proportion is currently 4.5%, and it will reach 8% by 2020.

According to the study, India's textile and clothing exports will also increase substantially to about $82 billion by 2020.
