By the end of 2013, there were 87 thousand small and micro enterprise legal entities in second, third industries, accounting for 95.9% of all enterprises and legal entities.

There are 1 million 198 thousand employees in small and micro enterprises, accounting for 50.8% of the total number of employees.

In the urban area, 5 central urban areas account for 58.3% of the total legal person units in the city. Among them, the number of legal person units in Shenhe is the largest, accounting for 14% of the city's total, followed by Tiexi district and Huanggu district.

According to the data, in the end of 2013, there were 1872 state-owned enterprises in the city, accounting for only 2.1% of the enterprises' legal entities.

The number of legal person units reached 57423, accounting for 63.5% of the legal person units in the whole city.

Through the pformation of state-owned enterprises in recent years, the number of state-owned enterprises has been decreasing, but the degree of capital concentration has been higher.

Among the top three of the self-employed employees, the top 432 thousand industries are: Wholesale and retail industry, 432 thousand, 52.9%, 122 thousand in accommodation and catering industry, 15% in the residential and service trades, and 85 thousand in the other service industries, accounting for 10.4%.
