The 11Th Charming Oriental · China International Underwear Creative Design Competition Finals Successfully Concluded
On April 20, the final of the 2023 '11th Charming East · China International Underwear Creative Design Competition was opened in Shenzhen (Futian) Convention Center. The theme of this competition is "Flying • Young". Young means young, representing all possibilities. The energetic players integrated the cheerful, lively, imaginative and limitless inspiration into their works, and launched a luxurious audio-visual feast.
The finals of this competition were hosted by Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Shenzhen Guangming District People's Government, China Knitting Industry Association, Guangdong Textile Association, Hong Kong Underwear Industry Federation, and Shenzhen Underwear Industry Association; Under the guidance of Shenzhen Innovation and Creative Design Development Office, Shenzhen Underwear Industry Association plans, promotes and implements the project, which is sponsored by Vignette International (Holdings) Co., Ltd. and co sponsored by Shenzhen Xinyi Underwear Innovation Research and Development Center and Threading Network. The aim is to cultivate the new force of creative design in the underwear industry, strive to find new design talents for the industry, introduce and train the new generation of designers at a deeper level, challenge the creative limit, and empower the popularity and creativity of underwear design.
Charming Orient · China International Underwear Creative Design Competition has attracted wide attention since its inception. It has become one of the professional competitions with the widest coverage, the most competitors and the greatest social impact in China's underwear industry, and has formed a great influence at home and abroad, In 2014, the competition was listed as "one of the eight major industrial design competitions supported by the Shenzhen Municipal Government".
Gathering top domestic and international celebrities
The jury of the finals of this competition is composed of Edith Keller, CEO of Karin International, Jason Paul McCarthy, academic director and chief operating officer of WeDesign, Dong Xiaoying, consultant of SUA design competition and founder of Shenzhen Dongzu Design Co., Ltd., Hou Yanhui, general manager of design, research and development of Cat Man Brand Management Co., Ltd, Ye Xiaoyun, Deputy Dean of the School of Fashion and Textile, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, served as the co chair. The jury has worked hard in the field for many years and has rich experience and outstanding achievements, which ensures the fairness, impartiality, professionalism and authority of this competition and is committed to selecting good design works for the market.
After years of practice, the competition has formed a set of mature evaluation rules and process system. The final of the 11th "Charming East" China International Underwear Creative Design Competition in 2023 will continue to use the on-site electronic scoring mode. "Fairness, impartiality and openness" are the evaluation principles that the competition has always adhered to, and also permeate into each link of the competition evaluation to protect the strong players.
Each judge's comments are critical to the contestants. The judges adhere to the original intention of mining new design talents for the industry, and help the rapid growth of new design talents with the principles of professionalism, strictness and fairness, making unremitting efforts to cultivate the best underwear design talents in China and the world.

The designers who participated in the final this time have injected their own strength into the construction of the city of fashion and the creation of a global benchmark city.
After a fair, just and open review by the judges, Song Zuyao, the No. 15 contestant, won the first prize of the competition with his work "Between Square Inches", winning 50000 yuan; Liu Huibin, No. 2 contestant, won the second prize for his work "The Past of the Bamboo Lamp", with a prize of 20000 yuan; Pei Fengqian, Chen Kehan and Cui Ying, the 14th contestant, won the third prize for their work "A Bright Moon on the Sea", with a prize of 10000 yuan.
