Horgos Port: China Europe regular train continues to speed up

On February 18, the ninth day of the first lunar month, a China Europe train loaded with goods such as general merchandise, machinery parts, textile fabrics and other goods left the Khorgos railway port, marking that the number of China Europe (Central Asia) trains passing through Khorgos port this year reached 1000, four days ahead of the same period last year.

Chen Pengde, Deputy Director of Horgos Customs, said, "The number of trains passing now every day is more than 20, and the customs clearance time has been reduced by 60%."

Ma Xiaogang, the production dispatcher of the safety production command center of Horgos Station, said, "During the Spring Festival, the transportation of China Europe trains is not closed. In view of the fact that there are many holidays in February, we timely adjusted the personnel, machines and tools, implemented 24-hour non-stop operation, coordinated with the superior dispatching department to organize the up and down trains, promoted the new modes of transportation organization such as the whole journey schedule transportation of China Europe trains, and realized the continuous speed increase of China Europe trains."

Hunchun Port: "Made in China" is favored

In Hunchun, a small city on the border between China and Russia, early in the morning, trucks full of goods lined up at the highway port, and trains full of parcels slowly drove out at the railway port.

Sun Jufeng, head of the Reform and Innovation Bureau of Hunchun Demonstration Zone, said, "More and more Russian consumers are falling in love with Chinese goods, and 3C electronic products, clothing, shoes and hats, toys, etc. are the most popular. The cross-border direct purchase price is low and the logistics is fast, which is popular with Russian consumers."

In the past five years, Hunchun's cross-border e-commerce import and export trade volume has increased from more than 40 million yuan to 5.1 billion yuan.

Li Gang, deputy director of Hunchun Port Management Service Center, said, "We have increased the construction of port infrastructure, and the clearance capacity of Hunchun Port has been improved to 2 million tons of goods and 2 million passengers. The volume of import and export goods at the port is increasing at an average annual rate of 18%."

The busy rhythm has become a daily portrayal of Chinese ports. As the largest country in trade in goods and a major trading partner of more than 140 countries and regions, China has always tightened its economic and trade ties with countries around the world to promote mutual benefit and win-win results in an open and cooperative manner.
