During the meeting, Yang Zhaohua, President of the China Textile Industry Association, did the report on the work of the fifth session of the Council.

Yang Zhaohua said that the work of the Fifth Council was completed in the national "12th Five-Year" development planning stage. At this stage, scientific development is the keynote, and "restructuring and redevelopment" is the key.

Under the guidance of the party's "Eighteen great" spirit, the Council firmly adheres to the national economic development policy and strategy, under the leadership of the China Federation of textile industry, with the support of various departments and trade associations of the Federation, and with the active cooperation of local governments and clusters, it has persisted in promoting breakthroughs in innovation, promoting cooperation and development, giving full play to the role of bridges and ties of the association, and carrying out various tasks in a positive and pragmatic manner, thus successfully completing the objective and task of the current Council.

Yang Zhaohua said that during the "12th Five-Year" period, the home textile industry, like the state, has gone through a complicated and difficult period.

In the early 5 years, during the "11th Five-Year" period of rapid growth inertia, the whole industry still maintained a high speed development, but from 2012, the domestic and foreign economic forms became complicated, and the domestic market consumption growth was weak, foreign trade was weak.

The recovery is slow, the price fluctuation of raw materials such as cotton is unstable, the cost of labor production factors and other costs have risen sharply, the backward equipment and technology need upgrading and upgrading, brand culture construction needs to be accelerated, and channel development is facing new choices.

In the face of complex situations and pressures at home and abroad, the Council has focused on these hot spots, focuses and difficult issues, and has obtained a lot of industry information through continuous and multi form research. It has provided reliable basis for formulating measures and plans for clusters and enterprises, and laid the foundation for formulating the "13th Five-Year" development plan of the industry.

For the next 5 years, Yang Zhaohua believes that the pformation and upgrading of the industry will become a strong sprint stage. At this stage, the state will "achieve double the GDP per capita and the per capita income of urban and rural residents than in 2010". The home textile industry should seize this opportunity and make a layout for the goal of achieving a well-off society in an all-round way.

To this end, Yang Zhaohua put forward four proposals for development: innovation, drive development, coordination and balanced development, green, sustainable development, cooperation and win-win development.

The meeting also examined and approved the amendments to the articles of association of the China Household Textile Industry Association and the sixth member membership fee standard bill of the China Home Textile Industry Association, and elected the Sixth Council member, the secretary general, the vice president and the president.

Yang Zhaohua was re elected as a member of the Sixth Council by members' balloting. Yuan Hongbing, chairman of Guangzhou yuan Zhicheng Home Textile Co., Ltd. and Deng Yuanjin, chairman of Jiangsu golden sun Textile Technology Co., Ltd. were newly elected vice presidents of the Sixth Council.

Yang Zhaohua said that the sixth session of the Council will further play the role of trade ties. On the basis of in-depth research on the market, the government should respond to the difficulties and difficulties of the government response industry, and actively implement relevant policies, and strengthen cooperation with relevant associations, give full play to the advantages of the industry, continuously strengthen industry self-discipline, promote trade exchanges, crack down on fake and shoddy commodities, improve market trade order and rules, give full play to the enthusiasm of all members, change the working style, and bring into full play the role of the association.

The meeting was chaired by Li Jie, Deputy Secretary General of China Household Textile Industry Association.

At the meeting, Jiang Long, Secretary of the CPC's Haimen Municipal Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, said that this year, the China Home Textile Conference was held for the first time in the localities.
