In the same week, domestic textile mills in the United States made inquiries for 31 / 41-4-34 and above cotton to be shipped from January to October in 2022, and 42 / 51-4-34 and above lengths shipped from June to October this year. The yarn demand was good. Due to the shortage of labor force, the start-up rate of some factories was still low, and the current production was still dominated by front-line personal protective equipment and general consumption. American cotton exports are light. Thailand purchases grade 4 cotton shipped from October to December this year, China purchases grade 2 cotton for spot shipment, and Mexico has an inquiry for grade 4 and grade 5 cotton shipped from October to December.

In the southeastern part of the United States, there was scattered rainfall, and the field work continued to advance. In some areas, the temperature was low and sowing was delayed; The storm in the north of the delta brought rainfall, and outdoor work was delayed. In the south of the Delta, there was heavy rainfall with rainfall of more than 100 mm, accompanied by floods. In the Rio Grande River Basin in southern Texas, rainstorms of more than 300 mm and strong winds caused three replanting of new cotton.
